Reprogramming includes tactical urbanism interventions, including temporary events, murals and art installations, pop-up markets, food trucks, painting, and low-cost landscape improvements, such as movable planters, temporary structures, catenary lighting, signage, and wayfinding that support temporary events.

Reprogramming only includes improvements made by specific tenants if coordinated to support the shopping center as a whole or improvements internal to tenants unless there are indoor common areas such as a mall concourse.
